March 14, 1921 - Feb 9, 2013 OKLAHOMA CITY John Ragon Gentry was born March 14, 1921, and died peacefully February 9, 2013. After serving in the U.S. Air Force, he created The Candy Stick Drive-in on Classen Boulevard in Oklahoma City. His wife, Dorothy, was his business partner, family partner, and best friend. After retirement, they enjoyed over 20 years traveling. John was always known for his sense of humor. He enjoyed spending time with his family at Lake Tenkiller. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Dorothy Deen Gentry. His children and their spouses are Peggy and Bo Galloway, Pam Gentry, Ragon and Kelly Gentry. Six grandchildren are: Jacqueline and Keystone Hughes; John, Katie, and Kevin Galloway; Garner and Sody Gentry. He is also survived by many extended family members that meant the world to John.
