Sep. 9, 1923 - Feb. 16, 2013 OKLAHOMA CITY George Crain "Brick" Bradford, 89, went to be with his Lord on Feb. 16, 2013. Born Sep. 9, 1923, Brick grew up in Wesleco, TX. He was the older of 2 sons born to Guy and Helen Bradford. He served as a US Marine during WWII, earning the Distinguished Flying Cross. He received his J.D. from the University of Texas. After practicing law he was called to the ministry of the Gospel. He attended Austin Seminary where he met Marjorie Lloyd who became his wife of 55 years. After pastoring for 11 years, he became a leader in the Presbyterian charismatic renewal movement, serving for 25 years as the General Secretary of the Presbyterian Reformed Renewal Ministries in OKC. He helped 1000s worldwide experience a greater work of the Holy Spirit in their lives. Brick will be remembered for his kindness, humility, and wisdom. He was loved and respected by 1000s. He is survived by his daughter Toni Fickett, her husband John, and their 7 sons; by his son Paul, his wife Tammy, and their 4 children; by his son Mark, his wife Anne, and their 8 children; by his daughter Tana Farris, and her husband Henry. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Marjorie and his younger brother Tony.A Memorial Service will be held at St. Stephen's Presbyterian Church, 2424 NW 50th Street, OKC, Thursday 2/21 at 2 pm. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the St. Stephen's Mission Fund.
