Taylor, Jr. May 2, 1946 - May 3, 2013 OKLAHOMA CITY Elbert "Stoney" Taylor Jr., age 67, U.S. Air Force Veteran, died on May 3, 2013, following several years of illness. He was born May 2, 1946, in Alexandria, Virginia, to Elbert and Imogene McGovern Taylor. He graduated from Daviess County High School in Owensboro, Kentucky, in 1964. Stoney is survived by his wife, Jan; four children, Andrea (Darrell) Sisson, Todd (Janice) Taylor, Dale (Pam) Olstad, and Mike (Christi) Olstad; fourteen grandchildren, Dani, Randi, Jake, Hunter, Halie, Julia, Kaiti, Emily, Jessica, Dylan, Abbi, Tyler, Todd, Tanner; three great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Jeff (Betty) Taylor, and Rusty (Kathy) Taylor. He is further survived by a niece, Sarah Jurenka. He was preceded in death by his parents, Elbert and Imogene Taylor, of Elizabethtown, KY; his former wife, Brenda, of Owensboro, KY; and his brother, Mike Taylor, of Mobile, AL. Viewing will be at the John Ireland Funeral Home, 120 S. Broadway, Moore, OK, on Monday, 1:30-9 p.m.; family will receive visitation Monday, 6-8 p.m. Memorial service will be held at Destiny Christian Center, 3801 S.E. 29th St., OKC, Tuesday, May 7, 4 p.m.; private burial at Fort Sill National Cemetery, Elgin OK.
