Obituary Condolences

March 6, 1949 - Sept 26, 2013 OKLAHOMA CITY Larry Dean Barnett was born in Beaver, Oklahoma, on March 6, 1949, to Lenola Jean Jacobs Barnett and Archie Dean Barnett. Larry passed away at St. Anthony Hospital in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, on September 26, 2013. He had fought a long, hard battle with Charcot-Marie-Tooth Disease, and although his body was failing him, his mind and great sense of humor were very much intact. Larry was preceded in death by his father and his grandparents. He is survived by his mother and stepfather of 46 years, Lenola Jean and Harvey Addleman; sisters: Linda Campbell, of Warrensburg, MO; and Merrie (Ted) Ferguson, of Lee's Summit, MO. Larry also leaves nephews and nieces that he loved to be around and enjoy as well as a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends whom he loved to battle with wit and word. At Larry's request, his body was donated to science, and at a later time, he will be laid to rest at a graveside service in Forgan, Oklahoma, next to his father.
