Brown, Jr. Aug 22, 1930 - Feb 21, 2014 THE VILLAGE Retired Command Sergeant Major Dailey D. Brown was born in Greenville, TX to Dailey Sr. and Stella Brown on August 22, 1930. Preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Bob Brown; he is survived by his wife, Velesta "Cookie" Brown; sons: Mitchel, of OKC; and Michael and wife LaRisa, of Stillwater, OK; two grandsons, Travis and Trent; one great-grandson, Jayden; and many other loving relatives and friends. He had a very distinguished 26-year career in the U.S. Army, where he earned many citations and commendations, including the Bronze Star. He was a devoted Christian, husband, father, and grandfather. Dailey was truly a great man, who touched so many lives and will be missed by many. Services will be at the Heritage Baptist Church in Oklahoma City, OK on Wednesday, February 26, 2014, at 10:30 a.m.
