Armstrong Wade Dec 4, 1935 - Feb 28, 2014 EDMOND Shirley Anne Armstrong Wade, age 78, passed away on February 28, 2014, surrounded by her family. She was born on December 4, 1935, in Woodward, Oklahoma, to Robert and Ethel Armstrong. She married Arnold Lee Wade on January 28, 1951, in Hardtner, Kansas. On July 6, 1964, their marriage was sealed for time and all eternity in the Salt Lake City LDS Temple.Shirley was a devout Christian and active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS). She truly loved every person she met and cared very deeply for their happiness and well-being. Shirley is survived by her beloved husband of sixty-three years, Arnold; by her six children: Teddy (Michelle), Bobbi, Terry (Gina), Tommy, Barry (Tracy), and Chris (Angie); and by thirty-three grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 5, 2014, at 11 a.m. at the Oklahoma City LDS Stake Center, 5020 NW 63rd St., OKC. Visitations will be held Tuesday, March 4, 6-8 p.m. at Mercer Adams Funeral Service, 3925 N. Asbury, Bethany, OK, and on Wednesday, March 5, 9:30-10:30 a.m. at the LDS Stake Center prior to the services. Interment will follow in the Rose Hill Burial Park.
