I worked as Dr. Mohler's secretary at Wright State University in the late 70s and early 80s. I learned so much from him. One was his laid back approach to life. I have often thought "how would Dr. Mohler react" when faced with difficulties. My condolences to Ursula and the family. He was an awesome man.

What a wonderful man Stan Mohler was. I can hear his voice calling: "Hello, Pam! Stan here...." He may have had some simple request, but we chatted about all kinds of things. I will miss those calls and of course seeing him at AsMA meetings. They won't be the same without him. I am lucky to have known him. May he soar with eagle's wings.

I had the privilege of a nearly 36 year friendship with an incredible friend. My thought are with the family who also were great friends. The entire aviation community will miss you greatly. You were such a positive influence on countless thousands, with lessons which will always be with us. I was touched to talk with both Mark and Stan, Jr., and to learn that I was on his last flight in a Cessna 182. I imagine he is now sitting in the left seat of a Beech Queen Aire watching down on us with clear skies and tailwinds.

Dad, It's been one week since you left us on that final flight. Today, I was looking at the beautiful sky and the clouds you loved so much. I know you are up there flying around and keeping watch over us. Love you Dad. Your darling daughter, Susan

I will remember Dr. Mohler not so much for his outstanding accomplishments in his field for which there were many, but for his genuine kindness, and interest in others. He had a great sense of humor and an enthusiasm for life that was contagious. You have my most sincere condolences.

Stan loved aviation and the pilots loved him. His ability to untangle the quagmire of FAA regulations was legendary. We in the many he taught, and helped retain their medical ticket will always grateful. May God shine on his family as it did him.

Dr. Mohler was a long time friend and aviation business associate. He was the one person who made it possible for me to obtain my Private Pilot's License in l966 in Oklahoma City, OK. I participated in an Pilot Training Program at CAMI. Dr. Mohler was the one who encouraged all along the way to complete my training and he remained a life long friend whom I treasured then and will alway consider him as my mentor and friend. Rest in Peace dear friend and May God Bless his lovely family. The world will be less bright without you. So, Dr. I wish you "Blue Skies and Tailwinds" on your journey home. You will be missed.

Stan will be sorely missed at the monthly aviation programs at the CENTERVILLE Hithergreen Senior Center. I flew with Stan as an instructor in the Dayton Pilots' Club several times over the years-and received a wealth of knowledge from him. My sympathy goes out to the family.
