Pearl Vera Sheridan, 84, of Corydon, Ind., passed
away Sunday, February 24, 2013.
She was born November 11, 1928,
in Wiesbaden, Germany, to Benjamin
and Vera E. Clark while her father
was with the British Army of the
Rhine (Royal Welch Fusiliers). She
was one of five children and a native
of Great Britain who moved to the
United States with her young family
Pearl was a member of Crestwood United
Methodist Church in Crestwood. She was an animal
lover, a gardener at heart, and loved John Wayne.
She is survived by her brother, Jerry Clark of
Cyprus; and her six children, David Sheridan of
Corydon, Ind., Gerald and Subin Sheridan of
Spanaway, Wash., Joanne Ballard of Knoxville, Tenn.,
Susan and Xang Oulay of Bowling Green, Ben
Sheridan of Corydon, Steve and Gretchen Sheridan
of La Grange; 10 grandchildren, Daniel (Charlene),
Tony ( Jo), Dawn, Sandy, Pascalle ( James), Rachel,
Nathan, Sharon (Ian), Chris, and Elizabeth; several
great-grandchildren; her beloved cats, Sooty, Tally
and Gin Gin; and her chickens.
A memorial service will be Saturday, March 23.
