Charles L. Ensminger, 89, of Louisville passed away Friday, Sept. 28, 2012 at home.
He was a member of Crestwood United Methodist Church, Kentucky Sheriff 's Association, Kosair Shrine Temple-Scottish Rite-Harry Kendall #750 Lodge, Middletown Senior Citizens, Oldham County Country Club and a Navy veteran of World War II.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Louise Martin Ensminger.
He is survived by his daughter, Nikki Hardin; sons, Charles (Sheila) Ensminger Jr., Mark (Sharon) Ensminger; nine grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren; brother, JW Ensminger; sister, Dorothy Matthews; nieces, Dottie Wisdom and Trisha Tynes; nephews, Carl Ensminger, Donald Keith Ensminger and Steve Tynes.
Services were Oct. 3 at Stoess Funeral Home, Crestwood.
Burial took place in Floydsburg Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may go to Crestwood United Methodist Church.
