Dale L. Stakelbeck, 69, of Crestwood, passed away
Sunday, August 4, 2013 with his family
around him.
He was an inspiration to everyone
that he met. He will be missed by
many for his great sense of humor
and his wonderful attitude. He loved
his family, fishing, trap shooting, and
laughing with friends. He was a member
of the America Trap Shooting
Association, North American Elk
Society and National Chevy Association. He owned/
operated D&D Automotive, Restoration and Classic
Cars. Dale had received national recognition for his
cars. With special thanks to Mike, Mikie and Jeff for
their friendship, hardwork and support.
Dale is preceded in death by his parents, Dale
N. and Opal Stakelbeck; son, Robert Dale "Robby"
Stakelbeck and a sister Laura Lisa Stamper.
He is survived by his loving wife of 31 years, Joyce
Wilson Stakelbeck; brother, William Don Stakelbeck
(Zenda); sister, Holly Belle Stakelbeck; and several
nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank Dr. Moffett
and the staff at James Graham Brown Cancer
Center and the Doctors, nurses and staff at Norton
Brownsboro Hospital for their great support.
A memorial service was held Wednesday, August 7
at Stoess Funeral Home.
