David A. Crask, age 65 of Brownsboro, passed away on Monday, October 28, 2013 at home with his loving family around him.

He was a member of Crestwood Christian Church, a lifetime member of VFW Post 1170 and was retired from the Oldham County road department. He was an Army veteran with the 1st Battalion 72nd Armor Division in Korea 1969-1970. David also earned the Rhodes Scholar and Roads Master from the University of Kentucky.
He is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Judith Elder Crask; a brother, James M. Crask Jr., three sisters: Carole (Bobby) Totten, Sharon (Pat) Elder, Terry (Bill) Winburn; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins; and his companion pets, BJ, Weezy and KeeKee Cat.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, October 30, 2013 at Stoess Funeral Home, Crestwood followed by burial in Harrods Creek Cemetery. Visitation was from 2 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, October 29 at Stoess Funeral Home, Crestwood.
Contributions in lieu of flowers can be made to Brownsboro Community Center, VFW Post 1170, Crestwood Christian Church, Oldham County Animal Shelter, Hosparus of Louisville or Norton Cancer Center.
