Doug Liddell, 47, of La Grange, passed away Friday, May 24, 2013 at Jewish Hospital.
The Guest Book is expired.
He was the owner/operator of Liddell Plumbing and a Volkswagen and Jeep enthusiast. Doug never met a stranger and had a smile that would light up a room. He was loved by many and cherished by his children, who are going to miss him terribly.
He fought a great fight but God has a bigger plan for him now. He lived by and taught his children one quote, "If it's worth doing, it's worth doing right." He was a wonderful father and friend to all.
Doug is preceded in death by his father, Billy Jack Liddell.
He is survived by the mother of his children, Lisa Carr; a son, Shane; a daughter, Lindsay; mother, Lucille Liddell; mother-in-law, Lillie Rawlins; father-in-law, Roger Rawlins; 3 sisters, several nieces and nephews and many friends who considered him family.
Services were Tuesday, May 28, 2013 at Stoess Funeral Home. The body was buried at Floydsburg Cemetery.
The family requests contributions to the Shane and Lindsey Education Fund. c/o Farmers Bank of Milton, 2207 S. Hwy 53, P.O. Box 47, LaGrange, KY 40031; Attn: Cheryl Carnes.
