Kenneth Dean Ashley, 70, of Crestwood passed away Tuesday April 3rd, 2018 at his home.
He was retired from Phillips Lighting Company and an active member of Lyndon Independent Baptist Church.
Ken loved customizing, collecting, selling, showing and competing in classic cars shows! He was a lifetime member of the Louisville Street Rods (as well as a past president) and NSRA, a member of Wilder Than Most, and GoodGuys. Often times on weekends Ken could be found at Sportsdrome Speedway or relaxing / boating at Rough River. He was a NASCAR and UK fan as well. Ken never met a stranger and loved going out for a good meal.
He was preceded in death by his father, Roy Ashley; his mother, Mary Francis Tyler Ashley; brother, Arthur Dale Ashley; and his half-brothers, Donald Lee Hurt and Donnie Ashley.
He is survived by his wife Glinda Arnett Ashley, 1 stepson, 3 stepdaughters and his half-brother Scott Ashley.
Funeral service will be Friday 10:30am, Stoess Funeral Home, Crestwood with burial to follow in Jeffersontown Cemetery. Visitation will be 3-8 pm Thursday. memorial contributions may be made to Lyndon Independent Baptist Church.
