William Talbert Elder, 74, of Crestwood, passed away Tuesday, September 4, 2012 at Norton Brownsboro.


He served in the Marine Corps, was a member of Oldham County HOP Rodders, worked for the KY Department of Transportation for over 28 years, and was employed at the KY Fair and Exposition Center.


He was preceded in death by his wife, Mildred "Louise" Elder, and sister, Peggy Beahl.


He is survived by his wife, Teresa; son, William (Venus) Elder, Jr.; daughter, Crystal Rena Elder; brother, Robert Elder; grandson, Talley Elder and granddaughter, Shelby Elder.


Funeral Service will be Saturday, 10:30 AM, Stoess Funeral Home, Crestwood, with entombment to follow in Louisville Memorial Gardens East.


Visitation will be Friday 3-8 PM.
