DeCapua, Peter Joseph - Ligonier  
LINGONIER, Pa. - Peter Joseph DeCapua, 98, of Ligonier, passed away Sunday (May 22, 2016) in Excela Latrobe Hospital. He was born Aug. 6, 1917, in Olean, N.Y., a son of the late Haneal and Mary Fury DeCapua. Prior to his retirement in 1965, he was employed as an electrical engineer for Acme Electric. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II. Peter and his surviving brother were the oldest living twins in Pennsylvania. Peter had a private investigator's license and an electrical journeyman's license. He was an honorary member of the Pennsylvania Sheriff's Association. If you took something to Peter to fix and he couldn't fix it, he would remake it. He will be deeply missed by his twin brother and his family. He is survived by three children, Jean M. Case of Ligonier, Gloria A. (Edwin) Lewis of Savannah, Ga., and Peter P. DeCapua of The Villages, Fla.; nine grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; and his twin brother, Paul J. DeCapua of Ligonier. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 70 years, Catherine Moore DeCapua; a grandson, Matthew DeCapua; two brothers, Lawrence and Angelo DeCapua; and two sisters, Angeline Moore and Lucy Hannon. At Mr. DeCapua's request, private services and visitation will be held at the convenience of his family. Interment will be in St. Bonaventure Cemetery, Allegany, N.Y. The J. Doucette, Joseph J. - Otto  
OTTO - Joseph J. Doucette, 80, of Otto, passed away Saturday (May 21, 2016) in Otto. He was born Nov. 5, 1935, in Buffalo, a son of the late James and Dorothy Oliver Doucette. Mr. Doucette was a U.S. Army veteran, having served from 1958 to 1960. He was employed at TODCO in Cattaraugus for many years until his retirement. Mr. Doucette was married to Belle Abbey Doucette, who predeceased him in 1987. He is survived by two brothers, Richard (Georgiann) Doucette of Franklin, Wis., and Eugene (Debbie) Doucette of Cattaraugus; and two sisters, Delores Woncki of Springville and Sharon Sanchez of Buffalo; and several nieces and nephews. Besides his loving wife, he was predeceased by a sister, Jacqueline Traffanstedt. Friends may call the Mentley Funeral Home Inc., 411 Rock City St., Little Valley, from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday (May 26, 2016) in the funeral home with the Rev. Joseph Porpiglia officiating. Burial will be in North Otto Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Diabetes Association.
