Anna H. Mikolajczyk(1921-2013)

OLEAN - Anna H. Mikolajczyk, formerly of West Fall Road, passed away Wednesday (Jan. 9, 2013) in The Pines Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center, Olean.
Born Jan. 1, 1921, in Oakfield, she was a daughter of the late Frank J. and Mary Matla Mikolajczyk.
On June 26, 1943, in St. Cecelia Church, Oakfield, she married Ignatius ""Iggy"" Mikolajczyk, who passed away Dec. 30, 1967.
A resident of Olean since her marriage, she was a lifetime member of the Transfiguration Church and its Altar and Rosary Society. Her biggest hobby was making ceramics for her family. She also enjoyed crocheting and baking for her grandchildren.
With the help of the lord Jesus Christ and assistance from Social Security, she was able to raise most of her children by herself.
Surviving are her children, Larry (Nancy) Mikolajczyk of Boothwyn, Pa., Stephen Mikolajczyk of Portville, Richard (Carm) Mikolajczyk of Olean, Patrick (Sharon) Mikolajczyk of Allegany, Edward (Sue) Mikolajczyk of Olean, Elena Mikolajczyk of Olean, Leonard (Tammy) Mikolajczyk of Great Valley, Paul (Rachelle) Mikolajczyk of Medical Lake, Wash., and Rita (Brian) Metler of Derby, Kan.; 31 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; a brother, Frank (Barbara) Mikolajczyk of Oakfield; a sister, Julia (Wilbur) Easton of Oakfield; several nieces and nephews; and a daughter-in-law, Gail Mikolajczyk of Olean.
In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by a daughter, Valerie Accurso; a son, Raymond P. Mikolajczyk; a daughter-in-law, Kay Mikolajczyk; and two brothers, Victor and Henry Mikolajczyk.
Friends are invited to a Mass of Christian burial at 11 a.m. Saturday (Jan. 12, 2013) in St. John's Church. Father Edward Sheedy, pastor, will be celebrant. Burial will be in St. Bonaventure Cemetery, Allegany.
