BRADFORD, Pa. - Beth Elaine Foster, of 2407 W. Washington St., passed away Thursday (Feb. 27, 2014) at Olean (N.Y.) General Hospital after a long battle with cancer.
Born Feb. 27, 1958, in Salamanca, N.Y., she was the daughter of Jerome and Joan Lecceardone Nannen. On May 12, 1980, in Coudersport, she married James R. Foster, who survives.
Beth was a graduate of Allegany (N.Y.) High School and Elmira College as a respiratory therapist. She worked as a respiratory therapist at Charles Cole Memorial Hospital in Coudersport for 27 years and at the Bradford Hospital for seven years.
Beth enjoyed her family, camping, fishing and boating out on the lake.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her parents of Allegany, N.Y.; two sons, Justin (Melissa) Foster of Coudersport and Josh (Beth) Foster of Beaver; a daughter, Jerrica (Nick) Moore of Imperial; five grandchildren, Lyndsey, Dylan, Zayne, Austin and Poet; four brothers, Jay (Patty) Nannen of Fairport, N.Y., Brad (Sandy) Nannen of Atlanta, Eric (Lisa Metro) Nannen of Allegany and Brian Nannen of Amherst, N.Y.; and many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her maternal grandmother, Catherine Lecceardone.
At Beth's request, there will be no visitation. A family and friends memorial celebration of life will be held at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to GoFundMe.com.
