ARCADE - Cynthia A. Putt, 66, of Arcade, passed away in her sleep Saturday (Dec. 7, 2013), at her residence.
She was born April 22, 1947, in Buffalo, the daughter of Howard and Bernice Harris Putt.
She graduated from Ten Broeck Academy in Franklinville, and received her LPN from St. Francis School of Nursing in Olean. She continued her schooling and receiving her RN from St. Joseph Hospital School of Nursing in Bangor, Maine.
She was a registered nurse in Naples, Fla., for many years before retiring to Arcade. She enjoyed traveling, fishing and reading, and was very fond of her Himalayan cats.
She is survived by a brother, Kenneth Putt of Oklahoma; two sisters, Rhea (William) Bell of Fla., and Marna (Ed) Walsh of Pa.; and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by two brothers, Roger Putt and William Putt; and a sister, Roberta Spector.
A memorial service will be held at a later date. Arrangements are by Babbitt & Easton Funeral Home in Franklinville.
