Erica Lynn Cameron(1970-2013)

OLEAN - Erica Lynn Cameron of Olean passed away unexpectedly Saturday (Nov. 23, 2013), following a long illness.
She was born July 28, 1970, the daughter of Larry and Rebecca Cameron of Olean.
She was a loving and caring daughter and sister. She attended Olean schools, and worked as a waitress at area restaurants. She loved to spend time with her friends and family. She enjoyed NASCAR races, and caring for her pets. She had room in her heart for all cats in need, and they loved her right back. She will be fondly remembered for her positive attitude and cheerful demeanor by all who knew her.
Erica chose to live life to the fullest. She decided at an early age that she wanted to live her life her own way. She could make doing the simplest things into a fun adventure. She is greatly missed by her family.
Surviving besides her parents are her two brothers, Duane Cameron of Largo, Fla., and Eric Cameron of Olean; two sisters, Barbara Cameron Martino of St. Petersburg, Fla., and Patricia Cameron Perron of Venice, Fla.; many aunts, uncles and cousins, both near and far. Also surviving, is her cat, Pretty.
There will be no funeral or visitation. A memorial service will be planned for a later date.
Donations may be made in Erica's name to the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation. She would encourage all of us to look on the bright side of life, and live it to the fullest.

For Erica
If there is a Heaven,
With God upon a throne
I know that He, with open arms
is welcoming you home.
You have fulfilled your duty
and completed all your tasks.
Now finally dear sister
you have earned your rest at last.
I hope the angels recognize
the prize they have received,
and wrap you in a robe of light
as this earthly home you leave.
I hope your eyes are shining,
the wind blowing in your hair.
I hope you dancing shoes are on
as you leave behind your chair.
As you spread your new celestial wings,
soar over as we grieve.
We'll meet again sweet sister
in that I do believe.
