SALAMANCA - Gwendolyn Jean Koch, 87, of Eagle Street, died Friday (April 11, 2014) at The Pines Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center of Olean following a long illness.
Born on April 22, 1926, in Buffalo, she was the daughter of the late Samuel and Gwendelyn Testa. On April 20, 1945, she married John "Jack" Koch, who predeceased her Dec. 18, 1995.
Surviving are two sons, Timothy Koch of Fort Smith, Ark., and Rocky (Dottie) Koch of Machias; a daughter, Jacquelyn Burton of Hackett, Ark.; four grandchildren, Kelly (Kevin) Ashe of Crossville, Tenn., Tracy Talbot of Portville, Sean O'Connell of Arcade and Faith Koch of Warren, Pa.; and five great-grandchildren.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the O'Rourke & O'Rourke Inc. Funeral Home, 25 River St., Salamanca. There will be no visitation. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family.
