WELLSVILLE - Julianne Doyle Bentley, 43, of 55 Stevens St., Wellsville, passed away unexpectedly at her home on Sunday (July 21, 2013).
She was born Oct. 21, 1969, in Rochester, the daughter of John and Ruth Friel Doyle of Cuba.
Julie graduated from Cuba Central School in 1987. She then spent a year in Japan as a Rotary Exchange Student. She graduated with a bachelor of arts degree in sociology from Grove City College in 1992. She was employed by Wellsville Manor for four years and Sterilator Co. in Cuba for nine years.
Julie was a very caring, outgoing person with a beautiful smile. She loved to help out other people. She was loved among the AA community and often took an active role in AA meetings. She was artistically talented and enjoyed painting. More than anything, she enjoyed spending time with her sons, Alex, Owen and Evan. In recent months, she spoke often about her closeness to God.
In addition, to her parents, Julie is survived by her three sons, Alexander Doyle and Owen and Evan Bentley; her siblings, Shawn (Marlene) Doyle, Timothy (Jenn) Doyle and Denise (Kevin) Goodman; her former husband, Christopher Bentley; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Friends are invited to call from 3 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the J. W. Embser Sons Funeral Home Inc., 34 W. State St., Wellsville. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday (July 26, 2013) at Our Lady of Angels Church in Cuba, with the Rev. Dennis Mancuso as celebrant. Interment will follow at Our Lady of Angels Cemetery in Cuba.
