Lennny "Sonny" Kettle(1976-2013)

SALAMANCA - Lenny "Sonny" Kettle, 37, of 165 Broad St., Salamanca died Wednesday morning (May 1, 2013) at Olean General Hospital following a brief illness.
Born March 10, 1976, in Olean, he was a son of Lenny and Suzanne Jones Kettle of Salamanca. He was married May 17, 2000, to the former Elizabeth Larvie, who survives.
He was a graduate of the Native American Iron Workers School, Chicago. He had been employed at Seneca Gaming and M&M Gas Station in Steamburg. He also was a former iron worker.
He was an enrolled member of the Onondaga Nation, Heron Clan, and was the number-one Pittsburgh Steelers fan.
Surviving besides his wife and parents are two daughters, Summer Kettle and Ashlen Kettle; three brothers, Todd (Kelli Whitmer) Kettle, Darryl (Kariann) Kettle and Kip (Carmen) Kettle, all of Salamanca; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother, Mark Kettle.
Friends may call at the home of Sheila Jones Kettle, 8142 East Loop Road, Jimersontown, after 3 p.m. Thursday and all day Friday. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday (May 4, 2013) in Red House Memorial Chapel, with Windfield Bowen officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Heights Cemetery, Jimersontown.
