Michael ""Noodles" "Beav"" Newark

SALAMANCA - Michael "Noodles" "Beav" Newark, 57, died Saturday (Jan. 11, 2014), shortly after being admitted to Olean General Hospital.
Born Aug. 30, 1956, in Salamanca, he was the son of the late Hubert and Barbara Ambuske Newark.
Mr. Newark was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps, serviing from 1976 to 1980. He was employed at Salamanca Lumber as a wood grader. Mr. Newark was an avid Buffalo Sabres and Buffalo Bills fan, and was a devoted uncle to his nieces and nephews. His sense of humor will be missed.
He is survived by five sisters, Julie (Earl) Lafferty of Salamanca, Noreen (Emitt) Huffman of Wiersdale, Fla., Christine (William) Jacoby of Great Valley, Tami (Randy) Roberts of Lockport, and Toni Newark of Salamanca; a brother, C. John (Marjory) Newark of Salamanca; and several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by a brother, Pete Newark; a sister, Debra McClure; and a niece, Jennifer Manning.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, at the O'Rourke & O'Rourke Funeral Home, 25 River St., Salamanca. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday (Jan 15, 2014), with the Rev. Patrick Melfi, pastor of Our Lady of Peace, officiating. Burial will be in Crawford Cemetery, Salamanca.
Full military honors will be conducted by members of the American Legion Hughes-Skiba Post 535, and the Veterans of Foreign Wars John Ahrens Post 5296
