HUMPHREY - Minnie M. Healy, 90, of Humphrey, died Sunday (Oct. 27, 2013) at Olean General Hospital following a short illness.
Born Oct. 9, 1923, in Humphrey, she was a daughter of the late Frank and Loretta Conlan Healy.
Minnie was a graduate of Fredonia State Teacher's College and received her master's degree from Buffalo State College. She was employed as an elementary school teacher
for 40 years at Ellicottville Central School system prior to her retirement.
Minnie was a former member of St. Pacificus Church in Humphrey.
Surviving are a brother, James Healy of Olean.
She was dearly beloved by all of her nieces and nephews and her dog, Moody.
She was predeceased by a brother, Donald Healy; and a sister, Mildred Lounsbury-Smith.
Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday at the O'Rourke & O'Rourke Inc. Funeral Home, 25 River St., Salamanca. A prayer services will held at 10 a.m. Saturday (Nov. 2, 2013) in the funeral home, followed by a Mass of Christian burial at 11 a.m. in St. Pacificus Church with Father Daniel Walsh officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Salamanca.
