BELMONT - Nellie E. White, 96, of 6031 Baker Road, passed away Saturday (Jan. 5, 2013) in Angelica.
Born in Almond on Oct. 13, 1916, a daughter of Frederick and Mary (Colburn) Terwilliger, she was a lifelong area resident. On March 2, 1935, she married Daniel Boone White, who predeceased her in 1991.
Nellie was a member of the First Baptist Church of Angelica, where she participated in numerous activities over the years. She enjoyed sewing, but most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family.
She was predeceased by her parents; her husband, Daniel; a son, Donald White; a daughter, Beverly "Sod" Silvers; her sister, Jennie Reed; and her brother, Leverette Terwilliger.
She is survived by three daughters, Ellen (David) Baker of Belmont, Mary (Jim) Bull of Florida and Betty Patterson of Angelica; four sons, Fred (Dianna) White of Belmont, Robert White of Angelica, Larry (Angie) White of Angelica and Bruce (Sandy) White of Hornell; her adopted son, Terry LaDue of Florida; several grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren.
The family will be present from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. Tuesday (Jan. 8, 2013) at the First Baptist Church of Angelica, where funeral services will be held at 1 p.m., with Pastor David Ford officiating. Burial will be in Until the Day Dawn Cemetery.
