Mrs. Nina B. Droney

SALAMANCA - Mrs. Nina B. Droney, 79, of Erie Street, Salamanca, entered into rest Sunday (March 16, 2014) at Olean General Hospital.
Born on Dec. 2, 1934, in Galeton, Pa., she was a daughter of the late Michael and Alverta Beiling Gaffigan. She was married Feb. 19, 1955, to Mr. Paul Droney, who predeceased her Sept. 14, 1987.
Mrs. Droney was employed as a waitress at the Dudley Hotel and as a cashier at the former Bells Supermarket.
Surviving are two sons, John (Patti) Droney of Bradford, Pa., and Thomas (Holly) Droney of Orchard Park; a daughter, Susan (Carl) Rimer of North East, Pa.; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; two sisters, Dorothy (Skip) Lindburgh of Kennewick, Wash., and Martha White of Salamanca; and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by a sister, Beatrice Richardson; and a brother, Clayton Beiling.
Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the O'Rourke & O'Rourke Inc. Funeral Home, 25 River St., Salamanca. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday (March 20, 2013) in the funeral home with the Rev. Jacob Cirigliano, of Sawyer Evangelical Church in Bradford, officiating. Burial will be in Green Cemetery, Great Valley.
