BOLIVAR - Robert J. "Bones" Nendza, 54, of 2571 Harland Ames Road, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday (Feb. 26, 2013).
Born March 1, 1958, in Buffalo, he was a son of Abe and Patricia Girdlestone Nendza. He had been living with his longtime loving companion, Vicki Harmon, who survives.
Bones was a welder in the area for many years. He was a member of the United Ironworkers Local 6 union out of Buffalo.
He always enjoyed going to the Jamboree in the Hills, woodworking, carpentry, hunting and fishing. He also loved spending time with family and caring for his dogs Buddy and Rex.
He is survived by his longtime loving companion, Vicki Harmon of Richburg; his stepchildren, Amber Foust of Bolivar, Zachary Foust of Bolivar, Kirstea Pierce of Georgia, Brandon Pierce of Ceres, and Jason Harmon of Bolivar; three step grandchildren; two brothers, John (Michele Moore) Nendza of Blasdell and Leon Nendza of Fillmore; two sisters, Kathy (David) Antonio of Woodlawn and Debbie Radtke of Lackawanna; and many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his parents and a nephew, Sheldon Harmon.
Friends may attend a memorial service at 1 p.m. Friday (March 8, 2013) at the Richburg Fireman's Club House, Griffin Street, Richburg.
