LIMESTONE - Tasha Lynn Campbell, 22, of 460 Main St., passed away Tuesday (April 22, 2014) in Philadelphia.
Born on April 30, 1991, in Olean, she was a daughter of Leigh Campbell Higgins of North Carolina and Shannon E. Shroyer of Bradford, Pa., who survive.
Tasha attended Allegany-Limestone High School and was a student at Everest University. She had worked for several local businesses and was employed by The Connection call center at the time of her passing.
She loved hanging out with her friends and was a social butterfly. She enjoyed the outdoors, camping and all things of nature. She loved being around big horses, but the tiniest mouse would send her screaming, nor was she a fan of roosters, bats or seaweed.
Her fun-loving spirit and sparkling blue eyes were just a few of the things family and friends all loved about her.
Surviving in addition to her mother and biological father are her dad, Johnny Gleason of Duke Center, Pa.; her beautiful daughter, Ta'jeh Campbell, of Limestone; three sisters, Ashley Campbell of Limestone, Morgan Gleason of Clayton, N.C., and Angela Shroyer of Bradford; a brother, Johnathan Shroyer of Bradford; grandparents, Carrie Parsons of Limestone, Dewight and Suzanne Gleason of Ceres and Bob Montgomery of Limestone; a great-grandmother, Fay Campbell of Limestone; many special aunts, uncles and cousins, a very special niece, Kyleigh, who she loved dearly; and so many friends.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Lyle Campbell; and an uncle, Marvin "Bus" Campbell, who both loved her dearly.
Family will be receiving friends from noon to 1 p.m. Thursday (May 1, 2014) in the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Home Inc., 372 E. Main St., Limestone, where a memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Robert Beard, pastor of the Limestone United Methodist Church, officiating.
Memorials, if desired, may be made to the McKean County SPCA, P.O. Box 113, Bradford, PA 16701.
