SALAMANCA - Thomas William Schwartz, 42, of Salamanca, died Saturday afternoon (Oct. 6, 2012) in his home.
Born Sept. 17, 1970, in Olean, he was a son of Fred and Barbara Collins Schwartz of Randolph, who survives. He was married to the former Melissa Seavey, who survives.
Thomas attended Little Valley schools.
He was employed at Holiday Valley in Ellicottville as the manager of the Mountain Coaster.
He enjoyed going to demolition derbies, skiing, mountain bike riding and paintballing. He was also a first-rate mechanic.
Surviving along with his parents are two sons, Kyle Schwartz and William Schwartz, both of Salamanca; two sisters, Barbara Ann Schwartz of Tidioute, Pa., and Kathy (Shawn) Clark of Randolph; a brother, Robert (Susan) Schwartz of Colombia, S.C.; and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial visitation will be held at the O'Rourke & O'Rourke Inc. Funeral Home, 25 River St., Salamanca, on Thursday (Oct. 11, 2012) from 4 to 7 p.m.
Burial will be at Wildwood Cemetery, Salamanca, at the convenience of the family.
