HARRISON VALLEY, Pa. - Beverly K. Tormey, 72, of Harrison Valley, died Wednesday (April 24, 2013) in Soldiers & Sailors Memorial Hospital, Wellsboro.

Born Oct. 4, 1940, in Harrison Valley, she was a daughter of Ivan and Myra I. Outman Kibbe. On Dec. 23, 1960, in Harrison Valley, she married Robert E. Tormey, who survives.
She was employed by Galeton Production, by Electri-Cord in Westfield and as an independent Mary Kay consultant.
She was a member of Gospel Tabernacle in Coudersport.
Surviving besides her husband, Robert, are three daughters, Darcie (Allen) Cary of Bloomington, Ill., Melissa (Andrew) Lehman of Harrison Valley and Darla (Joel) Kosa of Ulysses; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; four brothers, Ivan L. "Ike" Kibbe Jr., Russell L. Kibbe, Cleon (Betty) Kibbe and Theodore Kibbe, all of Harrison Valley; two sisters, Betty Metcalf and Loveda (Dale) Potter, both of Harrison Valley; and many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by four sisters, infants Violet and Mary Lou, and Arloene Jones and Virginia Lampman; and two brothers, Byron "Jum" Kibbe and Jacob H. Kibbe.
Friends may call Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Olney Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Ulysses. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday (April 29, 2013) in the Gospel Tabernacle, Coudersport. The Rev. David J. Minor Sr. will officiate. Burial will be in Ulysses Cemetery.
