LIMESTONE - Bruce C. Easterly of Nichols Run Road passed away Saturday (March 9, 2013) at his home after a long battle with cancer.

Born Sept. 12, 1941, in Auburn, he was a son of the late Herman and Mary Grinell Easterly. On Oct. 11, 1997, in Limestone, he married the former Judy Little, who survives.
He was a graduate of Belfast High School, where he excelled in sports. He served with the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.
Bruce was employed at Dresser-Rand, retiring due to his illness.
He loved hunting and fishing with his twin brother, Bernie.
Besides his wife, he is survived by his stepmother, Helen Easterly of Jamestown; two daughters, Michele (John) Zlomek of Belmont and Kimberly (Jim) Fox of Cuba; two stepsons, Eric and Jeremy Little, both of Limestone; 14 grandchildren; and a brother, Gordon McLaughlin of Rochester.
He was predeceased by his brother, Bernie Easterly.
There will be no visitation. Friends are invited to a memorial service at 6 p.m. Thursday (March 14, 2013) in the Community Full Gospel Church, 5655 Nichols Run Road, Limestone. The Rev. Dennis Durfee will officiate. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
