OLEAN - Corry A. Converse, of the Rehabilitation Home at 1951 West Fall Road, passed away Thursday (Feb. 28, 2013) at Jones Memorial Hospital in Wellsville following an illness.

Corry was born May 6, 1980, in Olean.
He worked at Subcon Industries. Corry was a member of the Hillside Wesleyan Church. Corry enjoyed NASCAR - especially Dale Earnhardt Sr. and Jr. - Pittsburg Steelers football, Steven King movies, soap operas and going to the beach. Corry was a very special and loving person who touched many lives.
Corry is survived by his mother, Anne M. Trimm of Erie, Pa.; his father, Duane Converse of Olean; his maternal grandmother, Betty Trimm of Olean; a sister, Maria A. Converse of Olean; two nieces, Tiffani and Angela Showers; and many aunts and uncles.
Friends will be received in the Letro-McIntosh-Spink Funeral Home, 646 E. State St., Olean, on Tuesday (March 5, 2013) from 3 to 5 p.m., at which time funeral and committal services will be held. The Rev. Richard K. Long, pastor of Hillside Wesleyan Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Mt. View Cemetery, Olean.
