COLUMBIA, Mo. - Michael D. Flicker of Columbia, formerly of Olean, N.Y., passed away unexpectedly Saturday (June 30, 2012) at his home. He is at peace with Jesus now.
Born April 21, 1969, in Bradford, Pa., he was a son of Edward J. and Geraldine A. Fotch Flicker. Mike graduated from Archbishop Walsh High School, Class of 1988, and received an associate degree from Jamestown Community College.
Formerly of Olean, he was currently residing in Columbia and was employed by Holiday Inn as a night manager. He was a past member of St. John's Church.
Surviving besides his parents, of Olean, are two sons, Justin and Brandon Flicker, both of Dickson, Tenn.; a grandchild; a sister, Shelly Kelly Flicker of Olean; four brothers, Edward J. (Kim) Flicker of Cuba, Steven (Karen) Flicker of Felton, Del., John Flicker of Boiling Springs, Pa., and Chris (Christine) Flicker of Olean; and several nieces and nephews.
Family will receive friends at the Guenther Funeral Home Inc., 1303 E. State St., Olean, on Saturday (July 7, 2012) from 5 to 7 p.m., followed by a memorial service at 7 p.m. in the funeral home. Father Edward Sheedy, pastor of St. John's Church, will officiate.
Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
