ROULETTE, Pa. - Otis E. Church, 95, of North Street, passed away Monday (Aug. 5, 2013) in Sweden Valley Manor, Coudersport.

Born Feb. 24, 1918, in Sheridan, he was a son of Albert E. and Ellen Lyman Church. On Jan. 27, 1951, in Sanborn, he married Lucille Knowlton, who survives.
Mr. Church was a longtime resident of the area and a graduate of Roulette High School, Class of 1936.
He was employed by North Penn Gas Co., now UGI Central PA Gas, for several years, retiring in 1982.
Mr. Church was a member of the Riverside United Methodist Church in Roulette, Eulalia Lodge 342 F&AM and Potter Commandery 69 in Coudersport, Arnold Chapter 254 in Port Allegany and Coudersport Consistory. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, trapping and traveling. He was also a Civil War and railroad enthusiast.
Surviving in addition to his wife, Lucille, are two daughters, Karen M. (Jeff) Masors of Pelham, N.H., and Marsha C. (Lynn) Walker of Meadville, Pa.; two grandchildren, McKenzie and Rhue Walker; two great-grandchildren, Irulon Walker and Dawson Walker Hetrick; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Onalee Church Petrie.
Friends will be received from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday in the Switzer Funeral Home, Port Allegany, where a funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday (Aug. 8, 2013) with the Rev. Donald Busch, pastor of the Riverside United Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Lyman Cemetery, Roulette. A Masonic service will be conducted by Eulalia Lodge 342 at 7 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home.
