SHINGLEHOUSE, Pa. - Susan E. Dickerson, age 74, of Shinglehouse, passed away Saturday (Oct. 6, 2018) at the Wyoming County Nursing Facility in Warsaw, N.Y.

She was born April 1, 1944, in Springville, N.Y., daughter of the late Eugene and Rose (Chrzanowski) Barr.

Susan was employed for 25 years at Motorola in Arcade, N.Y., and Elma, N.Y., where she served as an accounting manager. Following her retirement, she owned and operated Dickerson's Tax and Accounting Service.

She loved her new home and enjoyed hand quilting, exercising daily and cooking for family picnics. Susan's faith was very strong and she was a member of the Friends for Life organization.

Surviving are her husband of 21 years, Karl Dickerson; her children, Dawn James of Silver Springs, N.Y., John (Christina) Kulp of Wellsville, N.Y., Peggy (Jared) McKnight of Gahanna, Ohio, Patti (Charles) Gioeli of Middleport, N.Y., Amy (Jeff) Hackett of Wellsville, Valerie (James) Cline of Cuba, N.Y., Jeanette (Chris) Smith of Eldred and Brenda (Sam) Austin of Rushford, N.Y.; 20 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; her siblings, James Barr, Diane (Carleton) Miller, Barbara (George) Matthews and Nancy Marzolf; a sister-in-law, Pat Barr; and in-laws, William and Theo Dickerson.

She was the sister of the late David Barr and Charles Barr.

A celebration of Susan's life will be held this summer with a picnic at the family farm.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Wellsville Outreach Food Bank, 67 E. Pearl St., Wellsville, NY 14895.
