KILL BUCK - James S. "Woogie" Redeye Jr., 51, died Thursday (March 6, 2014) shortly after being admitted to Olean General Hospital.

Born Oct. 5, 1962, in Salamanca, he was a son of the late Judith Cooper Redeye and James Redeye Sr. On Oct. 9, 1993, he married the former Reggie Buck, who survives.
He was a self-employed logger.
"Woogie" was an enrolled member of the Seneca Nation of Indians, the Coldspring Longhouse, the Turtle Clan. He was a member of the Allegany Singers Society. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and trapping.
Surviving besides his wife are five sons, Daniel Redeye of Jimersontown and Randy Redeye, Marcus Redeye, Billybear Redeye and Buck Redeye, all of Kill Buck; two sisters, Marjory (John) Newark, of Salamanca, and Ann Marie Redeye, of Gowanda; a brother, Stewart "Dotsie" (Dawn) Redeye, of Kill Buck; and several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by a son, Jacob Redeye; and a sister, Lori Redeye.
Friends may call at the family home at 3631 N. Authority Road, Kill Buck, Saturday after 3 p.m. and all day Sunday. Funeral services will begin in the family home Monday (March 10, 2014) at 8:30 a.m. followed by services in the Coldspring Longhouse at 10 a.m. Burial will be in Memorial Heights Cemetery, Jimersontown.
