OLEAN - Charles S. "Charlie" Daly, an infant son of Kenneth J. and Stefanie M. Kent Daly, of 915 E. State Street, passed away Saturday (April 12, 2014) in the Galisano Children's Hospital at Strong Memorial in Rochester.

Charlie was born on Feb. 13, 2014 in Olean General Hospital. Although Charlie lived his entire life in hospitals he always surrounded by his loving parents and family. He loved to be read to and especially like the book "Corduroy." Charlie also enjoyed looking at the pictures and having lullabies sung to him.

In addition to his parents, Charlie is survived by: his paternal grandparents, John W. (Dawn) Daly of Bolivar; maternal grandparents Stephan G. (Karen) Kent of Portville; maternal great-grandmother Mary Lee Eaton of Olean; two aunts, Brianna L. and Megan M. Kent; and an uncle, Ryan P. Kent.

Charlie was predeceased by an uncle, John N. Daly III, in 1998.

Friends will be received from noon to 2 p.m. Wednesday (April 16, 2014) in the Letro-McIntosh-Spink Funeral Home, Inc., 646 E. State St., Olean, at which time funeral annd committal services will be held. The Rev. Brian B. Garrett, Pastor of the Olean Community Church will officiate. Burial will be in the St. Bonaventure Cemetery, Allegany.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Golisano Children's Hospital Pediatric Cardiac Center 601 Elmwood Ave., Rochester, NY 14642.
