OLEAN - June Liberatore, formerly of 401 Alder Court, passed away Thursday (April 17, 2014) at The Pines Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center after a lengthy illness.

Born June 22, 1935, in Centerville, she was the daughter of William E. and Geraldine Kinney Crane. In 1950, she married Ralph Liberatore, who survives.
She was a member of Southside Union Chapel and enjoyed baking, sewing, knitting and reading.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her six children, Phillip (Diane) Liberatore of Salamanca, Edward Liberatore of Olean, Anthony Liberatore of Oregon, Rosemary (Darryl) Whitcomb of Lockport, Diane (John) Geruso of Syracuse and Joann Liberatore of Florida; a sister, Mable Smith of New Hampshire; 26 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the Casey, Halwig and Hartle Funeral Home, 3128 W. State Road. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday (April 19, 2014) at the Hillside Weselyn Church in Olean. The Rev. Rick Long will officiate. Burial will be in Mt. View Cemetery.
