JIMERSONTOWN - Tina M. Christiansen, 48, of Center Road, died Friday (Aug. 1, 2014) at her home, following a long illness.

Born Feb. 22, 1966, in Batavia, she was the daughter of Vera Redeye Smith of Irving, and the late Robert Mack.
She was an enrolled member of the Seneca Nation of Indians, Deer Clan.
She had attended P.S. 45 in Buffalo, as well as Lafayette High School.
She was a homemaker and prior to her disability, had been employed at the Easy Shop, Springville.
Tina loved her animals, especially her cats. She was an avid bingo player. She will be remembered for her jokes that made you laugh, and how much of a giving person she was.
Surviving besides her mother, are a son, Jordan (Morgan Vail) Christiansen of Salamanca; two daughters, Erin and Jodi Christiansen, both of Buffalo; five sisters, Linda Logan of Salamanca, Sharon Chamberlain of Irving, Patricia Marlin of Salamanca, Marilyn Smith of Buffalo and Jackie Smith of Salamanca; three brothers, Gregory "Smitty" Smith of Basom, Leo Smith of Buffalo, and Gary Smith of Irving; four grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by a son, James A. Christiansen.
Friends may call from 3 to 7 p.m. today at the O'Rourke & O'Rourke Funeral Home, 25 River St., Salamanca. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday (Aug. 5, 2014) in the funeral home with the Rev. Marvin Abrams, pastor of Jimersontown Presbyterian Church, officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Heights Cemetery, Jimersontown.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to the Friends of Strays.
