CHARDON, Ohio - Michele Ann Krahe Peace, 47, died Friday (Nov. 9, 2012)
She was born Sept. 6, 1965, in Olean, N.Y. Formerly of Olean, she later lived in Willoughby and moved to Chardon in 1990. Michele married David H. Peace Dec. 28, 1985, in Olean.
Michele was a self-employed certified public accountant since 1996. She had also worked for Eltech in Chardon and the former Arthur Anderson Company.
Michele was a member of the Church of St. Mary, Chardon, where she was active in liturgy, friendship breakfast and the bereavement ministries. She also served as a board member of the Chardon Schools Foundation and President of Women in Networking Cleveland. She volunteered and participated in the three-day walk for many years. Michele enjoyed scrapbooking, cooking, travel, skiing and being outdoors. She was a graduate of Olean High School, Class of 1983, and of Cleveland State University, with a bachelor's in accounting, Class of 1988.
She is survived by her husband; two sons, Eric, a student and U.S. Army ROTC cadet at the University of Notre Dame, and Benjamin, a student at the University of Dayton; her parents, David and Irene (Skrzypczak) Krahe of Olean; her inlaws, Russel and Kathleen Peace of Portville, N.Y.; three sisters, Mary Krahe of University Heights, Meme (Tommy) Yanetsko of Olean and Marcy Tyler of University Heights; a brother, Michael (Pam) Krahe of Brockport, N.Y.; a sister in law, Sondra (Bill) Kosinski of Bainbridge Township; two brothers in law, Greg Peace of Ohio City and Dan (Chris) Peace of Huntsburg Township; six nieces, Megan, Melanie, Ashley, Mackenzie, Kayla and Allison; and three nephews, Billy, Jeffrey and Jacob.
She was predeceased by two brothers, Matthew J.M. Krahe and Mark Krahe.
Visitation will be from 1 to 3 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Burr Funeral Home, 116 South St., Chardon. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday (Nov. 14, 2012) at the Church of St. Mary, 401 North St., Chardon. The Rev. Dan Redmond will be celebrant. Burial will be in All Souls Cemetery, Chardon.
