WATERLOO – Clarence H. Nash Jr., 92, of Keli Drive, Waterloo, died Saturday (Dec. 1, 2012) at Seneca Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Waterloo.

Clarence was born Feb. 20, 1920, in Alden, a son of the late Rev. Clarence H. and Gladys Fortner Nash Sr. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II and was the recipient of the Silver Star. He was retired from Luminite Products of Salamanca. He had resided in Waterloo for the past three years, coming from Salamanca.
He is survived by his wife, Frances Hall Nash of Waterloo, whom he married Nov. 20, 1943; a daughter, Carolyn "Carrie" Osborn of Waterloo; a son, Dr. David B. (Patricia) Nash, of Canfield, Ohio; five grandchildren, Stephanie (Steven) Winnek and David, Brian, Amy, and Jacob Nash; two great-grandchildren, Steven and Spencer Winnek; his son-in-law, Charles (Teresa) Wheeler of Westfield; and many loving relatives from Tennessee and Massachusetts.
In addition to his parents, Clarence was predeceased by his daughter, Christine F. Wheeler; and his sister, Beatrice Elsen.
Funeral services and burial will be held in Salamanca at the convenience of the family at a later date. There will be no prior calling hours.
