JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - Charlene "Char" Malanowski Steinbroner, 61, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday (June 18, 2013) in Jacksonville.
She was born March 23, 1952, in Salamanca, N.Y., to Sylvester and Virginia Malak Malanowski.
Char recently retired as a medical assistant to Dr. Amit Chakravarty. She was a very generous and caring person and will be greatly missed.
In addition to her mother, Char is survived by her loving husband of 20 years, Richard J. Steinbroner; her brothers, James and Thomas; two nephews, Sean and Ryan; a niece, Sara; one grandniece, Ryiah; and many other family members and friends.
A memorial service will be held at a later date in Salamanca.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Char's name to one's favorite charity.
Arrangements are being handled by Hardage-Giddens Funeral Home, Jacksonville Beach.
