My heart was saddened as I learned this news. I remember Ross coming to one of the story times at the library with the girls. He certainly loved his family. May God sustain all of you now.

I believe...we met Trooper Riley at the NYS Fair this year. He allowed my daughter to have her picture taken with him and his crew. Whether it was Trooper Riley in this picture or not, we are deeply saddened by his loss. The Trooper we met at the Fair, portrayed a great deal of Professionalism. We are thankful for Trooper Riley's service to our nation and community. I pray the Lord will have his way in your family .

Ross will surely be missed. He was such an inspiration and so willing to help. I enjoyed my time running on the ambulance crew with Ross. His enthusiasm and knowledge was contagious. Prayers are with Heidi and the girls. He will be truly missed. May he soar above and keep an eagle eye on his beautiful family, still protecting them from above.

My heart broke when I heard the news, and thoughts immediately to his wife and three girls, they were his joy, he always had words of happiness and fun times with them. I am from EMSTAR in Elmira and he came to our training facility many times and worked with us and was a guest educator on occasion. Ross was a great person, always willing to help, no matter what the cause, and he believed in good. I will miss his smile and will know that heaven gained a great man when we lost im here on earth. God Bless Heidi, Abaigeal, Katherine and Jillian. And to the girls--your Dad would glow when he talked about you! He is still keeping his eye on all of you.
