My mom, dad, and I would go to Piccolo's every Saturday night when I was growing up, and Mr. Jr. (as I respectively called him) made me an honorary Italian and would give me lollipops if I ate all of my spaghetti. Now that I am in my 40's, and no longer live in Omaha, I would look forward to the birthday greeting that I would get every year via email from my beloved Mr. Jr. He will be missed terribly. What a wonderful man!

So many stories to tell and share. JR was was our "boss" when several of us work at Caniglia's many years ago when were in our teens. He was somewhat our babysitter as well. He would come and get me if I was late for work. He taught me an awful lot and he may have been our boss but he was also our friend. I'm exteremly sad to hear of his passing. He was a great person who always listened. I could tell hiom anything. Rest in peace "boss" You made a difference in my life.

Our sympathy to the family of Junior. Through the years my family was always treated with the upmost frienship, respect and smiles by the Piccolo family and thier staff . From staying open late on bingo nights so my father, Mike F. Kracher, could get late night dinners for his bingo workers to making sure my mother and my pregnant wife were seated immediately on a New Years eve night 35 years ago.
We will always remember.
