Salina, KS. Passed away at age 80 at Bethany Home Lindsborg. She was born in Salina, the daughter of Walter Andrew and Estella (Herrington) Crosby. She was a homemaker and member of the Salina V.F.W. Ladies Aux. Sylvia was preceded in death by her husband Robert Max Nelson; a son, Clifford; and a grandson, Michael Stark. She is survived by her sons, Richard (Elizabeth) Nelson, Omaha, NE, and Andrew (Melanie) Nelson, Topeka, KS; her daughters, Bobbie (Steve) Stark, Omaha, Katy Barry, Salina, Pam (Wilfred) Mastin, Salina, and Mary (Gary) Gleason, Salina; 16 grandchildren; and 16 great grandchildren.
FUNERAL SERVICES will be at the Graveside at 2pm Wednesday, January 2, 2013, in the Gypsum Hill Cemetery, Salina. The family will Receive friends at the Ryan Mortuary prior to the Service on Wednesday from 12Noon until shortly before 2pm. For more information or condolences go to: www.ryanmortuary.com
