Beloved wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, sister. Preceded in death by husband, Kenneth Stergion; parents, Henry and Marguerite Doll; and sisters, Marylyn McNaughton, and Virginia Kirk. Survived by daughters, Linda Young and companion Mike Garcia, Laura Lung (Doug), San Carlos, CA, and Kari Bowsher (Chris), Redondo Beach, CA; son, Chris Stergion (Tamara), Yardley, PA; grandchildren, Ryan, Connor, Makenna, Brady, Chase, Bryce, and Parker; brothers, Bernard Doll, Henry Doll, Thomas Doll, Jerome Doll; sisters, Theresa Gotch, Peggy Lewis; many nieces, nephews, cousins and in-laws. Born and raised in Omaha, Fran attended Mercy High School. Ken Stergion DDS, won her heart and in 1960 they married in Petaluma, CA. They made their home and raised their children in San Carlos, CA. Having acquired a Nursing Degree from College of San Mateo, Fran became a RN working at the Menlo Park VA Hospital for 15 years. Retiring in 1998 to a new home in Rocklin, CA, they enjoyed the added company of many new friends gathered as a result of their active participation and volunteerism in their parish and various community organizations. Fran is especially noted for helping organize the Strides and Strollers Walking group. Blessed with a lovely alto voice, she sang with the Springtones a local vocal group. Fran will be remembered for her deep faith and love of God, family, and friends. She'll be sorely missed.
MASS will be said by Father Michael Dillon at SS. Peter-Paul Church, 4450 Granite Dr., Rocklin, CA, 1pm Saturday, October 20, with reception following in the Church Hall. In lieu of flowers, Memorials may be made in her name through the National Ovarian Cancer Coalition, or
