Jerad Fuller

Fuller, Jerad
Age 33

Valley, NE, formerly of Stanton, NE. Jerad died December 3, 2012, at Methodist Women's Hospital in Omaha, NE. Jerad Allen Fuller, son of Allen John Fuller and Marilyn Bernice (Mettler) Fuller, was born September 5, 1979, at St. Luke's Hospital in Sioux City, IA. Jerad spent his early years living in Norfolk, NE, then at age three, moved with his family to Stanton, NE. Jerad attended and graduated from Stanton High School, then attended Omaha Metro College in Omaha, where he learned the plumbing trade. A born handyman by nature, Jerad would go on to receive numerous licenses and certifications in the plumbing industry while working for Service One in Omaha. His talent and vast knowledge of plumbing led Jerad to begin teaching Advanced Plumbing at Omaha Metro College, in addition to his full-time job at Service One. During his career, Jerad worked on many large new construction jobs including the airport, libraries, and a theatre, and later did a bulk of Service One's residential service calls. On April 16, 2011, Jerad was married to Jessica Rae Olson at Puerto Penasco, Mexico. Jerad dearly loved Jessica, always referring to her with the nickname, Beautiful. Jerad and Jessica made their home in Valley, where they resided with their "children", their beloved dogs, Sammy and Bandit. In his spare time, Jerad loved to watch Husker football and Creighton basketball. There wasn't a karaoke machine he didn't like, and was always one to break into a song at any time. Jerad enjoyed buying and shooting his vast collection of guns, working in his shop, riding motorcycle, hunting, traveling, playing in the annual Stanton Alumni basketball game, and travelling and spending time with his wife in Mexico. He loved being with his family, especially his little niece and nephew. Jerad was always smiling, and those around him would agree it was contagious. Everyone was Jerad's friend, and he was a very principled person, always trying to do the right thing; a trait that all that knew him admired. He was also a fun-loving, playful person, who enjoyed practical jokes, "creative" gift wrapping paper, and on several occasions, wrapping family member's Christmas presents in an unimaginable amount of duct tape, or encasing them in multiple layers of boxes. Jerad's kind, generous, patient, and loving nature made him the kind of person we all should strive to be. Jerad is survived by his wife, Jessica Rae "Beautiful" Fuller, Valley; mother, Marilyn Fuller, Norfolk; father, Allen (wife Carol) Fuller, Norfolk; sister, Kayle Jo (husband Jeremy) Passyka, Hoskins, NE, and their children, Brayden and McKaylin; step-brother, Taylor Wennekamp, Norfolk; grandfather, Howard Daggitt, Sioux Falls, SD; parents-in-law, Clay and Lori Olson, Fargo, ND; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and countless friends. He was preceded in death by his grandmothers, Sylva Daggitt, Naomi Fuller, and Irene Fuller; and his grandfathers, Roy Mettler and John Fuller.
