. He retired from Mutual of Omaha in 1985 after 27 years of service. Max M. Riley died peacefully with family Wednesday at Gretna Community Living Center in Gretna, NE. Preceded in death by parents, Lucy and George Riley; and brothers, Leon, John, Roland, Harry and Ralph. Survived by wife of 65 years, Alyce (Jacobsen) Riley; sons, Michael and William Riley of Omaha; daughter, Patrice (John) Ferguson of Fort Calhoun, NE; 4 stepgrandchildren; 6 step-great grandchildren; nieces; nephews; other relatives and beloved friends.
