Preceded in death by parents, R.D. and Pearl Rogers; and wife Roberta. Survived by sons, Robert, Jr. and wife Martha of Halifax, Nova Scotia; and son, John and wife Cres, Omaha; granddaughters and spouses, Sara and Scott Metcalfe, Amy Rogers and Matthieu Schapira, Jessica and Josh Huff, Abigail and Bob Kula, and Lindsay Rogers and Craig Wacker; great grandchildren, Nathaniel and Andrew Metcalfe, Marco and Lucas Schapira, Frances, Oliver, and Daniel Huff, Lucinda and Samuel Wacker, and Vincent and Michael Kula. Bob graduated from Northwestern University, and served in the U.S. Army during WWII. Bob and Roberta moved to Omaha in 1959. He was the owner of the Mister Donuts from 1963 until 1971. In 1972, Bob and Roberta opened Gallery 72 representing local, national and international artists. He and Roberta started Art Omaha, and were the recipients of the 1990 Governors Art Awards for Partners in the Arts. Bob received the 2007 Omaha Entertainment and Arts Lifetime Achievement Award.
