I really dont know what to say except iam so sorry for your loss iv only known Bob for about 3 or 4 years i bought several thing from the company years ago off Pacific St. But met his and he was the kindest most generious man. I was having some tough times and he went out of his way to help me with my jewelry that he did not have to do. I followed him one time to a jewelry store he knew to weight something for me and i couldnt keep up with him. HAHA He was a GREAT man and im sure will be missed by many people he went out of his way to help like me. I called him my Angel from God. God Bless Him. I know he is in a special place that God saved for him.

Family of Bob Osterholm, We were saddened to hear of your loss. I personally knew him for many years. My summer job during my HS years was "car-hopping" at his A&W Drive-In. He was a dedicated man to that business, and altho he, I think, wanted to appear on the serious side, it was always a challenge to strike his funny side and watch that sly, wonderful smile come across his face. All who worked for him apprecaited his fairness and appreciated his end of year rewards. In later years it was always a treat to find him in Glenwood at the annual Fall Homecoming. His smile never changed and of course he had to include his usual "teasing" to those of us who had worked for him. He was quite a guy!

To Sue and the entire Osterholm family,
We met Bob after he had retired from the day to day practice of law, when he had his office over at 108th and Pacific in Shaker Place. He started by himself, then with Joan, and we watched things grow and change through the years; Bob always warm and welcoming us back to Omaha.
We were there last Christmas, and we were so fortunate to see Bob in the store that day, visiting with John and the others.
He was telling us about his family, his children and grandchildren, and he regaled us with stories about his honeymoon. He and Sue had gone to some of the same places that we went to, only different times and decades apart. He was a man of rare charm, wit and grace. He loved his family and proudly showed us their pictures on his desk. His grandchildren brought him particular mirth and joy. He told us wonderful stories of their escapades and the love and pride for them shone in his eyes.
Our thoughts and prayers are with Sue and her family at this difficult time. He will be warmly remembered and sorely missed.
In our prayers,

Bob will be greatly missed. His sense of humor was always keen and he was a genuine person.
I was proud to call him my friend. I had the privilege of catching up with Bob within the last couple months and it was great to see him and hear all the great stories.
May God Bless and keep his soul. RIP Bob and my sympathies for his entire family.

Sue, John, and Family, I was so sorry to hear about Uncle Bob's passing (and to read that Aunt Dort had died also). My family and I have very fond and fun memories of Uncle Bob. His grandsons brought him such joy. I am sorry that I can't be there Tuesday, but I will be thinking about all of you. Grandpa and Grandma Osterholm's family is all back together again. Love, Shirley

My heart is heavy...I have lost a very special person in my life. I will cherish all my wonderful childhood memories of my Uncle Bob.Oh how I will miss him. I know that Grandma and Grandpa, my dad and all of his other brothers and sisters are probably playing cards right now. Aunt Sue and John....I wish I could come back to see you but work does not permit it right now. I pray that God will wrap his arms of love around you and give you peace and comfort at this most difficult time. I love you. God Bless.
